I am a director based in Byron Bay NSW, Australia. Originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, I came to Australia to study at the Australian Film Television & Radio School, where I made several short films that won awards and traveled the short film circuit.
I have spent the past fifteen years working as director, predominately in television working with the ABC and NITV.
As part of a move towards my passion, directing drama, I received a grant from Screen Australia to shadow director Michael Rymer on the set of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and spent four months in Vancouver observing Michael and soaking up his wisdom.
Inspired by my attachment with Michael Rymer I returned to Australia and managed to secure the film rights to Craig Silvey’s book JASPER JONES, my goal being to direct my first feature film. Unfortunately I was unable to direct this project at the time and instead became an executive producer.
Soon after I fell into the co-production of a small and wonderful human being. Willow has definitely been my greatest production to date. Currently aged seven she also seems very happy to have a mother who directed for PLAYSCHOOL and has been nominated for an AACTA award for her work on the show.

n 2018 I was selected to take part in the ADG’s TV Drama Shadow Directing Initiative which gave me the opportunity to direct an episode of Aquarius Films new children’s TV drama THE UNLISTED. My episode went on to be nominated for the 2020 ADG Awards for best direction.
In 2020 I was also awarded the 2020 Regional Directors Elevator Program from Screenworks, with support from Create NSW and Screen Producers Australia.
Most recently my short film project The Gathering was selected for funding by Screen NSW and Epic Games as part of the Unreal Engine short film challenge.
My goal is to work as a TV drama director, both here in Australia and Internationally.
